BiomarkersLabs.com is an online-based biomarker testing platform exclusively serving licensed healthcare practitioners. All orders placed through our platform are made in a professional clinical capacity through our internal ordering mechanism.

This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be requested and processed. By placing an order through BiomarkersLabs.com, you agree to the terms set out in this policy.

Order Cancellation Before Processing

You may request a cancellation at any time before your order has been processed and submitted to our laboratory partners.

  • Cancellations made within four (4) months of the order date will receive a refund of the total order amount less a 10% administrative fee
  • If your order has not yet been dispatched or submitted to a laboratory partner, a full (100%) refund will be issued with no deductions
  • Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to support@biomarkerslabs.com

No Refund After Laboratory Processing

Once an order has been submitted to our certified laboratory partners and specimen processing has commenced, no refund will be issued. This applies regardless of:

  • The nature or outcome of the test results
  • A change in clinical requirements after order placement
  • Practitioner error in test selection

We strongly recommend reviewing all order details carefully before submission.

Full Refund Eligibility

A full (100%) refund will be issued in the following circumstances:

  • BiomarkersLabs is unable to process your order prior to laboratory submission
  • A confirmed equipment calibration or laboratory error is reported directly by our laboratory partner, rendering results invalid
  • The ordered test is unavailable or discontinued after payment has been made
  • Your order was placed in a jurisdiction where the test cannot legally be processed, and BiomarkersLabs is unable to fulfill the order

Refund eligibility under this section is determined solely by BiomarkersLabs upon review of the relevant circumstances.

Order Expiry

Orders not acted upon within four (4) months of the purchase date will expire automatically. Expired orders are not eligible for refunds.

If you anticipate requiring an extension beyond the four-month window, you must contact us in writing before the expiry date at support@biomarkerslabs.com to arrange an extension. Extension approvals are at the discretion of BiomarkersLabs.

Disputed Results

BiomarkersLabs.com works exclusively with certified, internationally compliant laboratory partners. However, laboratory results carry an inherent risk of variance. Refunds will not be issued on the basis of:

  • Results that are disputed as false positives or false negatives
  • Results that do not align with a practitioner’s clinical expectations
  • Subjective disagreement with laboratory findings

Refunds related to results are only considered where a confirmed laboratory error or equipment failure is formally documented and communicated to BiomarkersLabs by the laboratory partner.

Administrative Fee

A 10% administrative fee is deducted from all eligible refunds to cover platform and processing costs. This fee is non-negotiable and applies to all cancellations unless a full refund is warranted under Section 4.

Refund Processing Timeline

Once a refund request has been reviewed and approved:

  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of purchase
  • Processing time is typically 5 to 10 business days, depending on your payment provider
  • BiomarkersLabs will notify you by email once your refund has been issued

Chargebacks

If you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider for a transaction on BiomarkersLabs.com, you agree that:

  • Services that have been fully performed are not eligible for post-processing payment disputes
  • BiomarkersLabs reserves the right to contest any chargeback with supporting documentation
  • Accounts with active chargebacks may be suspended pending resolution
  • Any outstanding balances resulting from reversed payments may be referred to a third-party collections agency

We encourage practitioners to contact us directly at support@biomarkerslabs.com to resolve any billing concerns before initiating a chargeback.

Discount Codes & Promotional Orders

  • Refunds on orders placed using a discount code or promotional offer will be calculated based on the amount actually paid, not the original list price
  • Discount codes and promotional credits are non-refundable and have no cash value
  • If a refund is issued on a discounted order, the discount code used will be considered void and cannot be reapplied to a future order
