What is Nickel (Urine)?
Nickel is an essential trace element at very low levels and a common contact allergen. Urinary nickel reflects recent exposure; dietary sources (grains, legumes, chocolate) and occupational exposure (electroplating, welding, alloy production) contribute. Nickel is rapidly excreted in urine.
